H1N1, also popularly known as the Swine Flu, is the strain of Influenza which has afflicted a significant group of people worldwide--22 million in the usa only. It is pass on through one individual coughing, sneezing, or touching some thing with the H1N1 virus, and then another individual getting in touch with the virus after which transferring the virus to their eyes, nose, or mouth.
The symptoms of H1N1 flu are similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu. Symptoms include a fever or chills, coughing, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, muscle/body aches, head aches, and tiredness. Some people also complain of throwing up and diarrhea. The symptoms of H1N1 can range from moderate to severe. Individuals who get H1N1 are contagious and could be capable of spread the illness from day 1 before getting sick up to 7 days or more afterward.
